The Mission of Draggin Ass has always been to have a good time, make friends, and share in the nuance of Vespa’s.
Draggin Ass was born to empower all scooterists to LEARN their bikes, and become mechanically self reliant while enjoying to ride. We ride safe, we ride for the thrill, and we ride for fun. We enjoy being with other enthusiasts, sharing experiences, and having a nice time; which is what Vespa is all about.
However, our focus on "Vintage", allows us to share our experiences, resources, and understanding of the Art of Vespa.
We all have our own reasons we ride, and that is ok with us.
We welcome all scooter riders and are not exclusive to those wanting to ride with us as a group in some settings.
We ride, meet for a bite to eat, for a coffee, or sometimes we get together to work on bikes, plan long rides, swap stories, and tips.
We host meet ups that all scooterists are welcome to attend, and we have Member Only rides which are specific to Club.
While we may not be the “oldest” Club, we are Phoenix-centric, have long time seasoned riders, as well as newbies. We don’t compete with other clubs because we focus heavily on Vintage Vespa's which move slower than Moderns, Maxi-Scooters, and Plastic Twist-n_go types.
We ride AMA, and have Vespa Club of America, as well as Vespa World Stats.
With that, we understand that there is a club for everyone even if it isn’t ours.
